James William HOLME (born 1886, Liverpool, England, bachelor) married Ellen CAVANAGH (b 1887, ?, spinster) in 1912 at St. Paul's Cathedral Calcutta. JWH taught at Presidency College, Calcutta 1910-1923 and Principal at Martiniere College, Calcutta 1923-1935. Ellen's father is Sylvester Cavanagh. JWH's father is Thomas Holme.
Children: Not sure - but there are four listed with the surname of Holme in the index from 1914-1918.
