Robert Nelson BELL (b 1810, d 20 Feb 1839 Meerut) in 1830 in Futtergur married Mary SHEELS (b 1812 Cawnpore, d 1844 Bombay, daughter of Moses and Elizabeth Sheels). Robert served E.I.C Bengal Commissariat Dept and was Killed in battle 1839 in Meerut aged 32yrs. One of Robert Nelson BELL’s  sisters married into the ASPINALL family killed during the Mutiny & another married into the DYER family, producers of native beer in India. Mary’s parents were Moses SHEELS (1793 – 1857 d. In Mutiny) and 1st wife Elizabeth LUXTED (1795-1828)  .... (m. 2nd wife Mary Ann JONES 1829). Mary’s brother James SHEELS (1811-1870) married twice – 1. Ophelia Phipps DYER (1810-abt-1858) , 2. Catherine SCOTT, Formerly BOLLINGTON nee ATTWOOD. (my line). Children of Robert & Mary:
