Hello all. Just introducing myself. My grandmother was born in Lucknow in 1929 and lived variously in Lucknow, Bombay, and Darjeeling among other places. Her maiden name was Davenport, her mothers maiden name Crampton. I have her photo albums and thought I’d just post some here. I am desperate to find any info. We heard all the stories but never wrote them down. She attended Loreto Convent School in Darjeeling. They left India for South Africa and then on to Australia where they settled. Nan came over the Britain in the 50’s and stayed. Nans mother Eleanor Crampton, nans father Claude Davenport, children- Patrick, Ann, Colin and Joan Davenport. Duncan Borthwick-Gardiner
