Do hope I can discover my grandfather. His name was Roberts and lived in Peshawar in the early 1900. Said to be a teacher at Edwardes School, Peshawar. First name not known he married Louise who later was a midwife in Peshawar. Had two daughters - Margaret m Daniels (Superintendent of Police) Nancy m Herbert George Fentum

 

Hello Edgar....hopefully the following info will help others locate your Teacher: Edwardes College, Peshawar is the oldest higher education institution in the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. In 1900 the Church Mission Society (CMS) with the assistance of Sir Herbert Edwardes established the college. Sir Herbert Edwardes was the British commissioner of Peshawar. The institution was named Edwardes in recognition of the commissioner’s contribution. The website for the College is https://edwardes.edu.pk/Home which has some contact details.
