I am interested to know when, where, and purpose of my Grandad's visits to India between 1845-1895. His name is John Edwin Hewick. He fathered my father whose mother's name was Gulbi from Malaka, in Allahabad. He later left for British Guiana where he became the First Criminal Puisne Judge and later retired to Cliff Cottage, Dorset, England in the 1920's.
